A new fiscal year means new priorities and plans. What will you and your team do? And just as importantly, what will you NOT do? What you will not do or stop - not resourced - Red Third, flag the risks (ex. priorities are unfunded) and identify options to mitigate them. This could include: 1. Bringing "yellow" items up if "green" ones get delayed 2. Putting limits on frequency/depth of mandatory work 3. Managing impact of work put on hold 4. Seeking savings or new funding. Fourth, update your three buckets to reflect risks and mitigations. The Red list of what you won't do matters AS MUCH as the green list of what you will. Without it you don't have priorities.
