개인소득 신고 안녕하세요. 백&리 회계법인 이재성 회계사입니다. 매년 이맘때쯤이 되면 개인소득 신고를 원하시는 고객분들로부터 문의 전화가 오기 시작합니다. 서류준비가 다 되었어도 아직 2023년 소득신고를 제출할 수 없기에 조금 더 기다려 주셔야 합니다. 보통 2월말이 되어서야 신고가 가능합니다. 또한 서류 준비가 다 되었더라도 T4와 같은 서류들이 추가로 발행될 수 있기 때문에 가능한 3월부터 신고 작업을 시작하는 것이 좋습니다. [소득] 개인소득 신고시 가장 중요한 것은 본인의 소득에 대한 이해입니다. 근로소득 서류인 T4외에도 본인이 미처 생각하지 못한 다양한 소득들이 존재할수 있습니다. 예를 들어 은행에서 이자를 받았을 경우 T5를 받아보게 되고, 정부 보조금을 받았다면 T4A서류를 받아보시게 될겁니다. 이외에도 캐나다 고용보험인 EI를 받아보았다면 T4E, CPP를 받아보았다면 T4A(P)를 받아보게 됩니다. 이처럼 다양한 소득이 존재할 수 있기 때문에 본인이 지난 한해동안 어떤 소득이 있었는지 생각해보시고 필요한 자료들중 빠진 것이 없는지 확인해보셔야 합니다. [해외 자산 및 소득] 캐나다에 거주하시는 한국분들의 경우 해외자산 특히 한국에 자산이 있는 분들이 많이 계십니다. 여기서 말하는 자산은 단순히 주택뿐만 아니라 은행에 있는 현금 혹은 주식 계좌와 같이 모든 형태의 자산을 포함합니다. 본인이 보유하고 있는 해외 자산이 2023년중 잠깐이라도 $100,000이 넘었을 경우 해외 자신 신고를 의무적으로 해야합니다. 또한 해외 소득이 있다면 이 또한 의무적으로 신고를 하셔야 합니다. 개인 소득신고를 준비 중이시거나, 비지니스 회계사를 찾고 계신분들 언제든지 연락주세요. 감사합니다.
