2020 was a crazy year to say the least. Mortgage rates plummeted and are still hovering around all-time lows. People were locked up in their home and I had to pivot my business to virtual meetings and online signatures. Many changes had to be made for the greater good of keeping everyone safe from the COVID 19 virus. With all that said, 2020 was still a busy year for me as a Mortgage Broker. First time homebuyers seem to be back and most of them see this crazy low-rate environment as an opportunity to buy their first home. People with existing mortgages are reaching out to see if they can take advantage of these low rates, mostly from the comfort of their own home. Who wants to set up a meeting with a bank? I would like to thank my existing clients for their support in a wild 2020 year. Many ups and downs, but we all persevered.
